“ What a great place! No wonder it can be hard to get a table. Super food, beautifully presented, and the staff are just lovely. Informally fabulous! ”
“ Had lunch here last weekend and haven't stopped thinking about it! The food was delicious, thoughtful combinations of flavours and textures, beautiful plating like you would expect in a fine dinning restaurant. Small venue with a relaxed atmosphere. A short taxi ride from the city centre. Bring your own wine for a cork fee. Can't recommend it enough. Thanks for a lovely experience! ”
“ Dinner was superb! Small and cosy venue with friendly staff and lovely food. Every single dish we tried was delicious. ”
“ A little gem. Small intimate Scottish restaurant. The food is amazing the service is perfect, I couldn't find a flaw even if I wanted to. You can see the chef is so passionate about the food he's serving, such perfect presentation and flavours. Would highly recommend and would surely be back. ”
“ Hands down the best meal I’ve had. Every dish was bursting with flavour, perfectly proportioned leaving me satisfied. Service was 1st class, from the minute you walk in to walking out the door, the staff are attentive. ”
“ Sunday lunch with my wife and myself....absolutely incredible food and presentation! We both had the Stornoway black pudding/ poached egg starter, which was fantastic, then we had Sunday roast, I had roast beef and my wife chicken....both were outstanding! It’s clearly more than just food to the chef/s , the only way you are going to truly appreciate it is by getting yourself along one day....as previous reviews suggest, you won’t be disappointed. ”
“ I only had the pleasure of visiting the original Crow Road location once and really liked it. So after a walk we had a lovely visit here on a Sunday afternoon. I would recommend booking as there are only a few tables. We hadn't, but we managed to get a table outside. Service was excellent throughout. Menu offered fantastic value with current deals of 2 courses for 17 and 3 for 20. We both got the Sunday roast and along with the roast beef came a braised beef shin which was a fantastic meaty bonus. Everything was delicious and just the right amount of gravy. Starters were also of very high quality and taste. Don't be put off by the surrounding neighbourhood. I would recommend this little restaurant for a visit. ”
